Calamondins are sour oranges. They fruit from November to April. These trees are very heavy producers, very showy landscaping plant with small oval leaves. The fruits are used to flavor drinks, marmalade's, jellies, and cooking. Juicy, acidic, thin skinned and are small 1/4" - 1 1/2". They are marketed as miniature oranges for houseplants and are cold hardy.
