Tree description: A small tree growing to a maximum height of 10-20 feet, these trees thrive in full sun, well draining soil, and require regular watering. Mature trees are cold hardy to 30 degrees fahrenheit for short periods of time and a more established tree is cold hardy to 28 degrees fahrenheit. The fruit has a grainy and milky texture with a poor seed to flesh ratio. The pulp is commonly used in smoothies and milkshakes due to its high nutritional and medicinal properties.
