The pummelo is the largest citrus fruit from the family Rutaceae and the principal ancestor of the grapefruit. It is a natural, non-hybrid, citrus fruit, native to Southeast Asia. They fruit from November to February. The fruit is large 5"-7" and very seedy. Pink colored flesh and low acidity. It tastes like sweet, mild grapefruit. Dessert or salad fruit. Cold tolerant.
